Canyons Crushes Depleted Victor Valley
Siosi Tuli scored 20 points to lead College of the Canyons to a 106-65 victory over Victor Valley in a second-round Southern California Regional game Tuesday night at Canyons.
L’Tanya Robnett had 16 points and 11 rebounds for Canyons (26-6), which led by 13 points at halftime.
Canyons outscored Victor Valley, 65-37, in the second half.
Victor Valley (19-16) had only six players available and was in trouble when Dana Allen, a 6-foot-5 center, fouled out early in the second half.
Kamisha Lewis scored 21 points and Allen had eight for Victor Valley.
Canyons plays Cerritos at home Friday.
Ventura 69, Palomar 55--No. 1-seeded Ventura (29-4) advanced to Friday’s third round by defeating Palomar (17-11) at Ventura.
