LAS VEGAS — Passengers from an airliner that was diverted to Philadelphia for a smoke investigation arrived here Monday.
A Continental Airlines reservations clerk in Las Vegas said Flight 4960 arrived at McCarran International Airport at 12:25 p.m.
Originally Flight 268, the plane was bound Sunday from Newark, N.J., to Las Vegas with 161 people aboard when it made an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport about 6 p.m. PST.
The airline reported that the captain smelled smoke and an indicator light suggested there was smoke in the plane.
No one on the plane was hurt.
