Man Robs Bank, Makes His Getaway on Foot

A bank was robbed Monday by a man who gave a teller a note demanding money and then fled on foot, police said.
The man entered the California Bank & Trust on the 34000 block of Doheny Park Road about 11:30 a.m., said Lt. Hayward Miller, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. No weapon was found at the scene, no getaway vehicle was spotted, and the amount taken was unknown, Miller said.
