One Student Remains Hospitalized After Crash

Only one Anaheim Hills student remained hospitalized Wednesday, the day after a motorist lost control of his car and plowed into a group of children walking home.
Erick Pena, 13, remained in guarded but stable condition at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana.
The driver, Thomas Guagliardo, 54, of Anaheim, also remained hospitalized and underwent heart surgery Wednesday, his father said.
