Fiery 3-Vehicle Crash Results in Minor Injury

Two cars and a semitruck were involved in a crash Monday afternoon on the Ventura Freeway, setting one of the cars on fire, according to the California Highway Patrol. One minor injury was reported.
The collision occurred about 3:45 p.m. in the northbound lanes just south of California 33. The injured person, who was not identified, was treated at Community Memorial Hospital, officers said.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked for about 30 minutes. Minor traffic delays for people driving to the nearby Ventura County Fair were reported.
