Re “Drivers Who Go Green Get a Red-Carpet Ride,” July 31: It’s wonderful to read that one of L.A.’s newest City Council members, Eric Garcetti, is setting an excellent example by driving an electric vehicle. He’s a much better role model than the council member who bought a Lincoln Navigator SUV at the city’s expense last year!
