* Aviation services company Mercury Air Group Inc. has promoted David D. Nelson to vice president of its base operation subsidiary, Maytag Aircraft Corp.
* Martha Vasquez has been named vice president of Forecast Home Mortgage, a Rancho Cucamonga- based joint venture between home builder Forecast Homes and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Inc. Vasquez had been an executive at the Wells Fargo unit.

* Cushman & Wakefield real estate services firm has promoted Michael Sidney to senior director in Los Angeles. Sidney has been one of the firm’s top-producing brokers.
Cushman Realty and Cushman & Wakefield have agreed to merge; the transaction is pending.
* Steven Marcussen has been promoted to executive vice president of Cushman Realty Corp., a Los Angeles-based real estate brokerage and advisory firm. During his 22-year career, Marcussen was involved in two of the largest office-space transactions in Southern California history: Fluor Corp.’s new corporate headquarters in Aliso Viejo and the $275-million Fox Entertainment Group lease in Century City.
