The Northridge baseball team plays a nonconference game today at Pepperdine, the second half of a two-game series scheduled to replace games canceled because of rain early this season.
Northridge (24-15) defeated Pepperdine, 11-9, in February at Northridge.
The Matadors, 2-4 in Big West play, host first-place Fullerton in a three-game series that begins Friday. Northridge has dropped two of three games in Big West series against San Luis Obispo and UC Santa Barbara.
Fullerton (26-10, 6-0) has swept Pacific and Cal State Sacramento and entered last week ranked No. 9 by Collegiate Baseball. The Titans outscored Pacific, 37-2, in three games.
