Newbury Park 6, La Canada 0--Katie Stokx pitched a two-hitter, struck out 13 and walked two to beat La Canada (7-1).
Amber Mastrioanni doubled and homered, and Stokx had two hits.
Newbury Park (10-4) hammered 15 hits in a 10-0, five-inning victory over Kennedy.
The Panthers play Saugus in a Gold Division semifinal.
Saugus 12, Taft 1--The Centurions (7-5) had 12 hits against the Toreadors (11-4), who were outscored, 21-3, in two losses.
Saugus defeated Calabasas, 8-3, in an earlier game.
Jaclyn Holden hit two home runs, a triple and a double in two games.
Westlake 3, El Camino Real 0--Two errors and a two-run single by Katie Kearns in the first inning got No. 6 Westlake started.
Lily Landers had three of the Conquistadores’ four hits.
The Warriors (6-4-1), one of six teams to go undefeated in pool play, lost its bid to compete in the Gold Division bracket next week because of runs allowed.
Michelle Rehm (6-4) of Westlake threw two four-hitters, also beating San Fernando, 3-1.
Hart 2, Marina 0--Erica Duhart drove in runs with a single and a fielder’s choice for the Indians (10-1) in the Foothill tournament.
Duhart hit a two-run single in an 8-0 victory over No. 5 Chaminade.
COLLEGE BASEBALL
Glendale 15, Santa Barbara 1--Eddy Camacho pitched six shutout innings and the Vaqueros (21-3, 12-2 in conference play) won their seventh game in a row with a Western State Conference interdivisional game at Glendale.
Camacho (2-0) surrendered three hits, walked two and struck out three.
Fernando Valenzuela Jr. hit a grand slam and Matt Friedrichsen hit his sixth home run of the season for Glendale.
Pepperdine 1, Gonzaga 0--Noah Lowry (8-1) pitched a three-hitter to lead the first-place Waves in a West Coast Conference game at Pepperdine.
The junior left-hander from Nordhoff High struck out 11 and didn’t walk a batter.
Jared Pitney hit a run-scoring single in the first for Pepperdine (20-10, 9-2).
HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL
Alemany 6, L.A. Baptist 5--Tim Cantu scored on an error in the seventh and the Indians won the championship game of the L.A. Baptist tournament at Alemany.
Cory Fama hit a three-run double for the Indians (8-5-1).
North Hollywood 2, Santa Monica 1--Omar Lopez squeezed in the winning run in the seventh of a Redondo tournament game at North Hollywood (7-9).
Saul De La Torre of North Hollywood allowed three hits and one run in six innings.
Cleveland 6, Verdugo Hills 0--Nick Arroyo had three hits and two RBIs for the Cavaliers (10-4) in a third-round game of the Chatsworth tournament at Cleveland.
Brad Boyer (2-0) allowed one hit in five innings.
Grant 9, Reseda 1--Moises Saldivar hit a two-run home run and a two-run double for the Lancers in a Chatsworth tournament game at Reseda (0-10).
Jeremy Harrison (3-1) of Grant (8-4) allowed four hits in six innings, with four strikeouts.
Banning 6, Kennedy 2--Adam Geery had three hits for the Golden Cougars (9-5) in a quarterfinal defeat in the Redondo tournament at Kennedy.
Notre Dame 5, St. Paul 4--The Knights (6-5-1) scored the winning run on an error in the sixth inning of a nonleague game at Notre Dame.
