David Finegood, 79, furniture manufacturer and philanthropist who supported Jewish causes. Finegood was a former president of the Jewish Federation Council of Greater Los Angeles, the planning, coordinating and fund-raising body for 16 agencies. He also headed the United Jewish Fund campaign in 1986 and was a member of the board of directors of the California Israel Chamber of Commerce. A resident of Westwood and Malibu, he and his wife, Rae, donated money to establish the Finegood Gallery on the Bernard Milken Jewish Community Campus in West Hills in 1987. The gallery highlighted the contributions of Jewish artists. On Wednesday in Los Angeles.
