NAWBO in L.A. Will Begin Meeting Weekly
The Los Angeles chapter of the National Assn. of Women Business Owners is starting weekly regional meetings for members in the San Fernando Valley, West Los Angeles, South Bay and Pasadena areas. West Los Angeles members will meet Thursday. Other meetings, intended to give the region’s thousands of female business owners a chance to network, will take place during the first week of October.
NAWBO did not hold weekly meetings previously.
The organization is also sponsoring a daylong event Oct. 19 that offers workshops on financing, tax issues, marketing and technology. Speakers include Nell Merlino, an organizer of Take Our Daughters to Work Day. The event at the Bonaventure Hotel downtown costs $135 for nonmembers and $115 for members.
More information on these events can be found at https://www.nawbola.org.
