Ventura 14, Mt. San Jacinto 7--John Ruff forced two fourth-quarter fumbles which were converted into touchdowns for Ventura (1-1) at Mt. San Jacinto.
Trailing, 7-0, Ruff sacked Garrett Ritchea, who fumbled.The ball was recovered by Jose Valenzuela of Ventura at the Pirate 43. Five plays later, Taru Dailey ran for a five-yard touchdown.
Ruff forced Ty Mullenaxto cough up the ball to Jorge Napoles of Ventura.
David Camaron scored on a seven-yard run with 53 seconds remaining.
Ventura had six sacks.
Camaron was the game’s leading rusher, with 83 yards in 22 carries.
Adrian Maciel and Dailey shared quarterback duties.
