Traffic Analogy Wasn’t Funny--It Was Foolish
Regarding “Discovering a City of Dreams: Los Angeles Without Traffic†(Aug. 16), which included, “Merrily we glided along, reveling in the relative solitude like goyim in Manhattan on Yom Kippur.†This is neither funny nor clever. Whether or not you are attempting to jump on Sen. Joe Lieberman’s current position, the analogy is foolish at best, anti-Semitic at worst.
I have an idea for a sequel: “Merrily we glided along, reveling in the relative solitude like Caucasians at the front of a bus in 1950s Louisiana.â€
