Interlink Reports Rise in 3rd-Quarter Revenue

Interlink Electronics Inc. in Camarillo said third-quarter revenue was $8.6 million, up 20% from $7.2 million in the third quarter of last year.
For the quarter that ended Sept. 30, net income was $797,000 or 7 cents per diluted share, compared with $546,000 or 5 cents per share for the same period of 1999.
“We are pleased with our financial results for the third quarter,” said E. Michael Thoben, chairman, president and chief executive. “Our core business remains very healthy with indications of continued strong growth into the future.”
Interlink manufactures interactive remote controls for business communications and home entertainment markets, electronic signature products and integrated computer pointing devices. It is an original equipment manufacturer for NEC, inFocus, SONY, Microsoft, SHARP, Toshiba and Mitsubishi.
