Downtown Art Tour Planned Saturday

Ventura will host a self-guided art tour through downtown shops, galleries and parks from 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday.
Harvest ArtWalk will showcase the work of more than 50 Ventura County artists inside downtown stores. Studio tours, music, poetry readings, dance and hands-on demonstrations are also part of the festivities.
Highlights will include the “Return of the Mudwomen,” an interactive performance piece featuring Nora Yukon and Kathy Neprud at For Your Home Furniture, 443 E. Main St. The second annual Dance Exchange will be presented at 6 p.m. by the Ventura County Dance Alliance at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 36 S. Figueroa Plaza.
