The city is considering an ordinance to lower the speed limit on Villa Park Road near Center Drive from 45 mph to 40 mph. The intersection is about half a block away from Villa Park Elementary School and has a school crosswalk. People have expressed concern about speeders in that area, City Manager Fred W. Maley said.
