St. Bonaventure 33, Harvard-Westlake 6--Lorenzo Booker ran for two touchdowns and Jack Swisher threw for two more and the Seraphs (5-0) won their 19th consecutive game at Ventura High.
St. Bonaventure’s streak ties the Ventura County record set by Moorpark (1997-98).
Booker, who finished with 200 yards in 15 carries, gave the Seraphs a 12-0 lead with a 67-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
Swisher completed 12 of 20 for 176 yards and Whitney Lewis had seven catches for 131 yards.
The teams agreed to play with a running clock in the second half.
Booker, who surpassed 1,000 yards rushing for the season, scored on a two-yard run with 2:17 remaining in the second quarter.
On the ensuing kickoff, Damien Pearson recovered a fumble, setting the Seraphs up at the Wolverines’ 35. Two plays later, Swisher hit Whitney Lewis from 31 yards for a touchdown with 1:29 left.
Swisher completed 12 of 20 passes for 176 yards and Lewis had seven catches for 131 yards.
