Formed in 1981 in New York City and now resident ensemble in various colleges on both coasts, the Alexander String Quartet comes to Fullerton to play works by Mozart, Beethoven and Bartok as part of the 42nd annual season of free concerts sponsored by the Fullerton Friends of Music. Quartet members include violinists Ge-Fang Yang and Frederick Lifsitz, violist Paul Yarbrough and cellist Sandy Wilson.
