Campbell Hall had one if its worst outings of the season in a 42-2 nonleague loss to Bishop Diego at Birmingham on Friday night, but it wasn’t for a lack of inspiration.
In attendance were legendary coach Herman Boone of T.C. Williams High and actor Denzel Washington, who portrays Boone in the movie “Remember the Titans.”.
Washington’s son, J.D., a junior running back for Campbell Hall, ran for 40 yards in 19 carries.
