Forget 50-50 raffles. Paraclete has a better idea.
The school gave two one-month scholarships during a drawing at Friday’s Alpha League championship game against Kilpatrick.
The prizes, each worth about $300, were available to any Paraclete family that entered.
Adam Lynch, a senior lineman and linebacker, was one of the recipients.

The Eagles, who fell to 2-5 after losing five consecutive games, outscored Highland, Littlerock and Quartz Hill, 98-21, to finish 5-5 and clinch the Golden League’s final spot in the Division III playoffs.
Their reward?
A first-round matchup at top-seeded Notre Dame (9-0-1).
