NDT Systems Breaks Off From Curlin

NDT Systems Inc. in Huntington Beach has broken off from its parent to become an independent company.
NDT, which makes ultrasonic equipment that detects flaws in metals, plastics and glass for the aerospace industry, was acquired from parent Curlin Medical Products by NDT executives Gregory M. Smith and Ray Riebeling for an undisclosed sum.
Smith, a 15-year NDT veteran, has been named president of the company, which employs 15 people. Riebeling is vice president.
Curlin makes infusion pumps for drug delivery.
