Rail Pass Covers Long French Weekend

Rail Europe this month began selling a new France Weekender Pass, which offers four consecutive days of unlimited rail travel in France for $119 coach and $139 first class. It is designed, in part, to encourage off-season travelers who take the Eurostar train from London to Paris to extend their trip into a “mini-tour.”
Travel must include a Saturday and Sunday. The pass can be bought through Feb. 28, with the provision that travel take place within three months of purchase, that is, basically in the off-season.
