Montclair Prep 55, Malibu 10--Senior Gary Sonkur rushed for 403 yards and six touchdowns in 20 carries to lead the Mounties (10-0) in a nonleague game at Valley College.
Sonkur scored on runs of 61, 49, 42, four, 87 and 74 yards and went over the 2000-yard mark.
Senior wide receiver Deron Smith caught a 56-yard touchdown pass from Jason Goss to give Montclair Prep a 34-7 lead early in the second half. Goss completed three of three passes for 71 yards--all of them to Smith.
