Northwood Runs to Division IV

Northwood finished second in the Southern Section Division V girls’ cross-country finals last season and third in state, but won’t get an opportunity to better that finish this month.
New enrollment figures obtained last week show the Timberwolves now belong in Division IV for the upcoming section and state meets.
Northwood, ranked as high as second in the Southern Section and state Division V polls last month, is now ranked fourth in Southern Section Division IV, behind top-ranked Corona del Mar and third-ranked Orange Lutheran.
TENNIS
The Southern California Junior Doubles Sectional Championships will take place Saturday and Sunday and Nov. 18-19 at the Los Caballeros Racquet and Sports Club in Fountain Valley.
