The deadline for residents to mail back surveys detailing their transportation needs has been extended until Tuesday, city officials said.
Of the 13,000 surveys mailed out to residents last month, about 5,000 have already been returned, said Doug Reilly, administration services director. Questions on the survey ask residents to rate their current methods of transportation and list services still needed in the city, he said.
The seven-month study kicked off in July to help city staff learn about residents’ travel patterns and transportation needs. Information: (949) 452-0600.
