Two garden centers are available for Leisure World residents who want to cultivate their own food and flowers.
Plots are leased on an annual basis, with charges ranging from $19 to $38, depending on the size. Large tools, water and horse manure are available at the nearby Equestrian Center. Garden Center One is off Moulton Parkway near Santa Maria Avenue. Garden Center Two is by the Maintenance Center near Moulton Parkway and El Toro Road.
