Despite delays at last year’s Fourth of July Celebration, the City Council has requested that Pyro-Spectaculars return to provide the fireworks display for this year’s celebration.
The council stipulated that the Pyro-Spectaculars will have to pay a $500 penalty per minute of any delay.
The display will cost $25,000, with $9,800 allocated for rental of the barge from which the fireworks will be ignited.
