The Los Alamitos-Rossmoor Library’s summer reading program, “Library Kids Lead the Way to Ocean Adventures,” begins June 26 at 3 p.m. and continues every Wednesday through Aug. 12. A new young adult reading program, “Bookscape,” for children in sixth grade and up, will also begin June 26. The free programs reward children for reading books with prizes throughout the summer. The library is at 12700 Montecito Road, behind the Rossmoor Shopping Center. Information: (562) 430-1048.
