The Brea Olinda Unified School District has selected Phil Hillman, director of business services for the Placentia-Yorba Linda School District, to replace Gary Goff, assistant superintendent for business, when he retires July 1.
Hillman, who lives in Yorba Linda, is a certified public accountant with more than 11 years of experience working for school districts. He was formerly director of fiscal services for Downey Unified School District and manager of the Vavrinek, Trine, Day & Co. accounting firm.
“I’m really happy about his appointment,” Goff said. “From what I’ve seen, he knows the business side of things.”
