Clarence Moore
Cypress, Track and Field
Moore has been plagued by an abdominal pull he suffered early in the season, but he’s rounding into form just at the right time.. Last weekend, he won the Southern Section Division II championship in the triple jump at Cerritos College, posting a mark of 48 feet 3 inches. It was the seventh-best mark in Orange County history and also the top county mark since 1994. Phouphet Singbandith of Magnolia set the county record at 51- 3/4 in 1990.
