Acacia Elementary School’s Parent Teachers Assn. will host Family Science Night to give parents a glimpse of the subjects their kids take on in class.
A look at the natural properties of electricity, experiments with an electrostatic generator and a mini-rocket launch will be part of the science experience. Children will be able to build their own electromagnet and learn about the importance of polymers in everyday life.
Science exhibitions will be open from 5 to 7:15 p.m., with dinner available until 6 p.m. Acacia Elementary is at 1200 N. Acacia Ave. Information: (714) 447-7700.
