The Balboa Art Walk, which features 60 local artists painting along the South Bayfront promenade, will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday. The event, featuring art and music, will be between Marine Avenue and the ferry landing at Opal Avenue.
This year’s Art Walk will include a wide selection of watercolors, oils, pastels, pottery and fine glass works.
Artists include Diane Moon, Debra Huse, Richard Kent, Michael Situ and Steve Simon. Juan Casado’s work will be featured on the Art Walk’s T-shirts and posters. Music will be provided by locals Rick Sherman, Mark Wood, the Fins and the Fabulous Nomads.
