A community meeting to discuss a proposed $9-million-plus improvement plan for the city’s sewer system will take place at City Hall at 7 p.m. Thursday. The City
Council was deadlocked Monday over a vote to approve an estimated $5.83 per month increase in sewer rates. Another public hearing on the rate increase is scheduled for the next council meeting May 22.
