A longtime city clerk will be retiring after 30 years of service. Lilian Haina was first hired as a typist for the city in 1970. She went on to become the deputy city clerk and secretary to the city manager and City Council.
She was then promoted to city clerk and conducted 27 of the city’s elections. Haina looks forward to relaxing, traveling and spending time with her grandson in her retirement.
