Humility Has No Seat at This Table

Glad to hear that Elizabeth An (“Women of Enduring Strength,” April 9) learned “to fall with dignity and to rise with humility.” We found no humility at her restaurant Crustacean when we were turned away recently. Though we had a reservation for nine, one member of our party, a visiting executive from the BBC, was denied seating because he was wearing athletic shoes. Of course, we all left, with humility.
