The Gary Center’s Family Violence Emergency Response Team is seeking food donations to help victims of domestic abuse.
The Safety Net Program, which provides temporary housing for domestic violence victims and children, is expanding its service to reach more people in need.
Cereals, snacks, juices and soft drinks, crackers, granola bars and other foodstuffs are needed for families under the program’s care.
Donations can be made at the Gary Center at 341 S. Hillcrest Ave. Information: (562) 691-3263.
