The 27-branch public library system has installed WebPAC, an Internet-based Public Access Catalog to make library service available to anyone with computer access, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

WebPAC is the latest alternative to the telephone dial-up service previously offered to remote library users. With WebPAC, patrons can connect to the Orange County Public Library from any computer with Internet access by going to the library’s Web site at: www.ocpl.org.

All cataloged public library resources can be viewed, including books, audio/visual materials, periodicals, and magazines. Patrons can see which items are available for checkout, place holds on items, look up their library card information and renew their own library materials.
