* FedEx Corp., the largest overnight-delivery firm, formed a division to provide inventory management and other services to companies involved in conducting business through the Internet. FedEx ELogistics was created as part of FedEx Supply Chain Services, which oversees inventory shipping, warehousing, distribution and merchandise returns. FedEx ELogistics will be based in Hudson, Ohio.

A unit of Dean Foods Co., one of the largest dairy processors and distributors in the U.S., faces a lawsuit for labeling its slushy beverage syrup Chilly Willee--a name claimed by another, smaller company. Chilly Willee Inc., which makes syrups, concentrates and machines that produce slush-style drinks, sued May 1 in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh claiming Dean Dairy Products Co. recently began using the name “Chilly Willee” for its slush drink syrup. A Dean Foods official had not seen the lawsuit and would not comment.
