* AMR Corp.’s American Airlines said it is buying 20 Boeing Co. 757-200 single-aisle, twin-engine jet aircraft to facilitate modest fleet growth and retire some less-efficient aircraft. The agreement calls for Boeing to take in trade five MD-90s American acquired with its acquisition of Reno Air, and will allow American to retire its five former Reno MD-87s. Further details of the transaction were not announced. Boeing lists 757-200 aircraft at between $69.5 million and $77.5 million each.
