* Tribune Co. and Los Angeles Times parent company Times Mirror Co., which have agreed to merge in a $6.8-billion deal, said shareholders of both companies will vote on the combination June 12. Chicago-based Tribune said it set May 5 as the record date for determining which investors in each company can vote on the acquisition. The combination would create the third-largest U.S. newspaper publisher by circulation.
