The City Council has postponed its decision on an amendment to the General Plan’s trail standards until the Bicycle Users Task Force has a chance to review it.
The revision was initiated by the community and maintenance services departments. The current General Plan includes design standards for three out of four types of recreational trails.
The new proposal includes minimum trail and tread widths for all four types of trails and more information on signs, bridges, drainage and other issues.
