* Various artists, “World Wrestling Federation Aggression,” Priority. Using a number of adrenaline-filled, chart-topping rappers to update the theme music for a number of the WWF’s big stars seems like a safe bet. But this album, which features Method Man, Snoop Dogg, Redman, Mystikal and others, doesn’t live up to its potential. Nearly every rapper seems uninterested in the performance, while the generic backing tracks pale in comparison to some of the guitar-driven compositions used by Public Enemy, M.O.P. and others.

Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent). The albums are due in stores Tuesday.
