Public Input Sought on Road Widening
Caltrans will hold a public meeting Monday to gather community comment on widening portions of California 23 from the Ventura Freeway to New Los Angeles Avenue.
The California Department of Transportation proposes widening the road from two lanes in each direction to three lanes from north of Paige Lane to south of Avenida de Los Robles. The widening would be done mainly along the inside median.
Construction is set to begin in fall 2004.
The meeting will be at Grant R. Brimhall Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Displays of the proposed improvements will be available.
