In the Moreno Valley Valley View tournament semifinals:
Rosary 2, Valley View 1--Third baseman Samantha Jennings, whose throwing error led to a sixth-inning run, atoned for her mistake with a game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh for the Royals (6-1), who advanced to play Loara in the final.
In nonleague softball:
Capistrano Valley Christian 1, Temecula Linfield 0--Lauren Capriotti pitched a no-hitter, striking out 12 and walking none for the host Eagles (6-0), and teammate Lindsay Fait had a triple and a run-scoring single to drive in Cari Fouse in the second.
Troy 3, No. 8 El Modena 1--Lisa Jackson had two RBIs and Lindsey Knoff gave up only one unearned run for host Troy (8-1).
