Artist and author Douglas LaMarche will discuss healing through art at 8 p.m. Saturday at Borders Books & Music, 14651 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks.
LaMarche bases much of his work on his own life. He suffered a severe fall when he was a teenager and has used a wheelchair most of his life since. An exhibition of LaMarche’s work, “The Sunman--Painting with Light,” is on display at the store through April 1.
Herbalists Mary L. Wulff-Tilford and Gregory Tilford will discuss their book, “All You Ever Wanted to Know About Herbs for Pets” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
