Amador Valley Wins, Plays Brea Next

SACRAMENTO — Mia Fisher had 23 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, as Amador Valley of Pleasanton defeated Concord Carondelet, 63-56, in the Northern California Regional Division II girls’ championship game at Arco Arena Saturday.
The Dons (27-5) will meet Brea Olinda in the state championship game at 6 p.m. Friday at Arco Arena.
Amador Valley broke open a close game with an 11-0 run in a 3 1/2-minute span of the fourth quarter and won its second consecutive Northern California title. Brittany Kernan had 17 points and eight rebounds for the Dons.
Leigh Gregory scored 21 points for Carondelet (29-3).
