The Planning Commission tonight will review a proposal to build and operate a 10,750-square-foot day-care center in the 5300 block of Beach Boulevard, near La Mirada Boulevard. The center would serve 196 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. City staff urges approval of the center, which would be in a shopping center.
