Maker of Diet Supplements Has Profitable 4th Quarter

Natrol Inc., Chatsworth, reported net income for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, of $2.7 million compared with $2.2 million for the fourth quarter of 1998. Revenues grew to $24.7 million compared with $19.2 million. Net income for the year rose to $9.2 million compared with $7.5 million in 1998. Revenues grew to $81.6 million compared with $68.2 million.
Natrol manufactures and distributes dietary supplements.
