Beebe to Run Computer Sciences Unit

* Computer Sciences Corp. has appointed Michael Beebe president of its North American Consulting Group. He replaces Jim Saviano, who will continue to focus on CSC’s evolving global e-business strategy. Beebe most recently served as president of the company’s Chemical and Energy Group, where he had responsibility for service delivery to global clients.
El Segundo-based CSC also has named Russ Owen, formerly vice president and account executive for CSC’s multibillion-dollar contract with DuPont in the Chemical and Energy Group, president of the global account team for that contract.
* Craig Hunegs has been promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president of Warner Bros. Television. The promotion makes him the No. 2 executive in the Warner Bros. Studios division and will report to Peter Roth, division president.
* Los Angeles-based Ifilm, an Internet site for fans, filmmakers and industry professionals, named Tom Harbeck, former head of programming for the Sundance Channel and a senior Nickelodeon marketing executive, as the company’s senior vice president of programming and marketing and creative director.
* Kenneth Kahrs has been promoted to executive vice president of human resources at Universal Studios in Universal City.
