Bishop Montgomery 2, Harvard-Westlake 1--Despite taking 18 more shots, the top-seeded Wolverines lost a semifinal playoff game on Gina Scachetti’s 35-yard free kick in the 80th minute at Bishop Montgomery.
Harvard-Westlake (20-3-4) took the first 10 shots and a 1-0 lead on a goal by midfielder Jill Oakes in the 31st minute.
Bishop Montgomery (22-5-3) tied the score on a penalty kick by Maggie Kirchoff in the 61st minute.
